The KROHNE H250-RR variable area flow meter is available in sizes from 1/2″ to 4″ with corresponding flow rates ranging from as low as 0.47 gph (0.026 scfm for gases) to as high 26,418 gph (1736 scfm). The basic accuracy for flow readings is an excellent ±1.6%. Due to its sturdy, all-metal construction, the H250-RR ensures high resistance to pressure, temperature and media. The modular design of the meter and indicator allows users to adapt the H250-RR to customer-specific applications including those in hazardous areas.

KROHNE H250-RR variable area flow meters operates of the float principle. Depending on the flow rate, the float will assume a certain vertical position in the tube. The float position is transmitted by a magnetic coupling system to the scale. This simple, time-tested design will ease installation time and lower maintenance demands.
